We're equipping folks to help ensure their food security through growing-at-home and preservation.

Most Americans only have 1-2 days worth of food in their homes, and as the fragility of the conventional food system is revealed by Covid-19 and income inequality and poverty are worsened, we want to help folks grow and store food with a goal of having 100 days of food in their home. As we move into 2021 WEI is focusing on building food security- both through continuing to grow food on the Amador Hill Farm & Orchard and equipping and empowering folks to grow and preserve in their own homes.

Before the end of 2020 we're aiming to raise enough money to get microgreen kits to 20 families, host a food preservation workshop featuring indigenous technology, and support the building and maintenance of an at-home aquaponic system.
