Emergency Food Relief Fundraiser

Six months ago, The HIVE decided to donate money to local non-profits as part of our way of doing business. The Sanneh Foundation was our original choice of non-profit partners because of their work on behalf of youth and families. Since that time, the coronavirus pandemic began and they have completely refocused their great work in response to new community needs by doing emergency food relief and nutrition support for families at the Conway Community Center.  

Last week we volunteered alongside their young staff, and helped package and distribute 20,000 lbs. of food in one day to 250 local families. The line of cars filled with families waiting to receive a box of non-perishable foods and fresh produce was two blocks long. 

Seeing the need first hand, The Hive is committing its support, by donating to sponsor The Sanneh Foundation’s food relief one day each week. As part of our commitment, we will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000, and if we hit the goal within 7 days, The HIVE is committed to donating another $5,000 matching grant.
