Northwestern Media is a network of radio stations across the Midwest that is committed to broadcasting uplifting Christian music and compelling conversations for all who tune in.

KTIS was founded in 1949, by the late Dr. Billy Graham, on the University of Northwestern campus.  Since that first broadcast on the Northwestern campus so much has changed. The network has to include stations across the Midwest and beyond. And technology has advanced and changed the way we deliver our programming. But the one thing that has not changed, and never will change, is our mission. We continue to be true to the same mission Billy Graham had when he started with that first broadcast, and that is: To lead people to Christ and to nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.

Today that looks a bit different as we launch into streaming our signals, launching podcasting programs, creating apps, and using social media - but the goal is always the same - to bring the love of Jesus Christ to everyone who tunes in, logs in, and scrolls by.

Whether you are listening in the Twin Cities, or one of our outlying stations in MN, WI, ND, SD, IA, IL, NE, KS, MO or CT, you can count on hearing programming that is God-honoring.
