End Hunger During FoodShare Month
Project for Keystone Community Services

Donate this March so that all Minnesotans have enough to eat!

Keystone food shelf are determined to reach their goals and provide for their families. When times are tough families turn to Keystone and we are glad they do.

Every month, over 7,500 people walk in the door at one of our food shelves or step into our Foodmobile. Many are hesitant but all leave feeling welcome and with enough food to feed their family.

How can you help neighbors in need?

For every gift of $100, Keystone can purchase 900 pounds of food.  It takes $200,000 a year to purchase the food needed to keep our food shelves stocked with fresh produce, meat and dairy products. The average retail cost of food is $1.75 per pound - fortunately through our partners Keystone can buy a pound of food for less than 15 cents per pound.

Your gift is an investment in your neighbors and your community. And it provides access to healthy food. In March, your tax deductible donation will be matched and provide even more support to families in need! Keystone is a partner of the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign and your contribution – both dollars and pounds of food – will be matched during the month of March.

“Do people know how much this help is needed just to make ends meet? I’m very grateful that this program is here." From a single woman who appreciates our programs and your generosity
