World Vets Mission is to improve the quality of life of animals, people and the environments in which they live by providing veterinary services, education, training and emergency response worldwide including work on companion animals, equids, livestock, wildlife and marine animals.

World Vets is an international veterinary aid organization based in Gig Harbor, Washington. With programs in over 45 countries on six continents, World Vets works to bring veterinary services to under served areas of the world by providing direct veterinary care to animals, disaster response services for major international disasters, veterinary training and education programs and long-term capacity building that improves the lives of animals, people and the communities in which they live. Our programs benefit a wide variety of animals on a global scale, including companion animals, working horses, livestock, wildlife and street dogs.

In the Pacific Northwest, World Vets work focuses on improving the health and welfare of marine wildlife by responding to injured or stranded marine mammals, and working to advance scientific knowledge and understanding to help protect and conserve the regions critical marine ecosystems. World Vets recognizes the importance of the One Health concept in which the health of humans, animals and their ecosystems are inextricably linked. Our programs help not only animals, but also people and the communities in which they live.

In the Galapagos Islands, we work together with the Galapagos National Park to provide rapid response and veterinary care for sick and injured wildlife, especially marine wildlife.  We also have a full time veterinary hospital for dogs and cats as part of our Conservation Medicine Program to help protect the vast biodiversity of the Galapagos Islands.
