$6,000 Goal

Winona community members are taking on an ambitious project: to build a community workshop and education space centered around making.  Construction has begun on the makerspace, with the goal of opening up by the end of the year.  We have an opportunity to buy a much needed piece of equipment for the space at a good discount: a gas kiln.  Help us fund this important tool!

Where do donations through Give To The Max go?

Donations we collect go to our gas kiln fund, and any extra will go towards construction costs for the makerspace.

About Winona Creators Collective

We are a 501c3 nonprofit based in Winona, MN, building a collaborative multidisciplinary space for artists, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in creating, regardless of background. We serve the needs of the greater Winona community by providing access to specialized tools, arts & STEM education, and mentorship opportunities, to uplift the local economy and foster the joy of making.  When open, the space will provide access to table saws, pottery wheels, 3d printers, and a heap of other tools, plus 20+ classes a month.  Woodworkers and crafters can connect with others to share techniques, collaborate on projects, or just have a social outlet around making.  The space also serves a critical entrepreneurship audience, where new businesses can create a prototype, join a business cohort, and rent an office or a desk to get their business off the ground.
