Johnson Senior High

We Need YOUR Support to secure our matching gifts and continue to Investigate, Innovate and Initiate!

Johnson Senior High School is located on the historic east side of Saint Paul. It serves students in grades 9-12 and has approximately 1600 students with an average class size of 28.5. Our school is home to the Saint Paul Public School district’s Aerospace & Engineering Academy that attracts students from all corners of St. Paul.

As a certified "Project Lead the Way" school, students can choose from six different pre-engineering classes that offer college credit, as does our broad range of Advanced Placement and College in the Schools courses. Johnson offers students many ways to follow their interest, including more than 35 clubs and organizations and 25 athletic teams. Every senior at Johnson completes a senior project that demonstrates they can write well, speak confidently, and successfully manage a major project on time as part of their graduation requirements. We’re proud of our community and business partnerships, notably 3M, Brandlab, Genesys Works and Hiway Federal Credit Union.

We are thankful for our matching donors this year:
  • Hiway Federal Credit Union
  • The family of Johnson Alumnus and former Minneapolis Police Sergeant, the late Jesse Garcia

Your donation will help Johnson students to be able to continue with their volunteer projects, as well as, provide funding for things like transportation to college fairs, supplies, tools and learning opportunities beyond the exceptional curriculum they already receive.

Thank you in advance for your gift to our school. For more information on our school, please visit http://johnsonsr.spps.org.
