Donate by midnight on November 19th and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to the generosity of the Harper Family Foundation. Our Board of Trustees is leading the way with the first $30,000 gift to jumpstart our progress. Together, let's raise $200,000 to build a new commercial kitchen that will nourish families for years to come.

At Ronald McDonald House Southeastern MN & Western WI, a warm meal is never just a meal. It is comfort after a long day at the hospital, a moment for families to gather around a table, and one less thing to worry about while parents focus on their child's care.

As our House has grown from 42 to 72 guest rooms, so has the demand on our nutritional program. In 2025, we expanded from providing four meals each week to one meal every day, ensuring families have access to nutritious meals throughout their stay. We also prepare grab-and-go items to keep our Fresh Food Co-op stocked with convenient food options for families. Together, these expanded services have placed significantly greater demands on a kitchen that was designed for a much smaller House.

Today, we're on track to serve more than 30,000 meals this year. Our current kitchen simply wasn't designed for this level of volume.

The More Than a Meal Campaign will build a new commercial kitchen designed to meet the needs of today's House and the families we will serve for years to come. The new kitchen will allow us to prepare fresh, nutritious meals, support our expanded nutritional programs, engage more volunteers, improve food safety and efficiency, and create a sustainable foundation for nourishing families well into the future.
