Laurel School of Music

Laurel School of Music is a nonprofit community music school based in Saint Paul, MN. 

Formed through the merger of St. Joseph’s School of Music and The St. Paul Conservatory of Music, the school provides high-quality music education for students of all ages and abilities. 

With deep community roots and a commitment to access, Laurel School of Music offers lessons, classes, and outreach programs that bring the joy of music to neighborhoods across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Laurel is committed to Music for All – this year, we will provide $100,000 in financial student aid. 

In addition, we offer several concert series hosted at our own facility at the historic Richard Gordon building, as well as in partnership with the Minnesota History Center and the Saint Paul Libraries. Our Saint Paul Chamber Music Institute summer program brings students from across the country to study and perform chamber music with world class teaching artists. Our summer camps provide a wide variety of musical opportunities to local students in the summer.
