Flying Foot Forum

The FFF creates innovative percussive dance theater that shares the joy of rhythm through dance, story and song with people of all ages.

Joe Chvala and the Flying Foot Forum enter their 25th year of ground-breaking, mind-bending, highly physical and wildly theatrical works. FFF is hot off the successful run of its roving dance party history tour in downtown St Paul called "Passing Through Pig's Eye", which features site-specific works created by a forum of the Twin Cities' most innovative and creative dance, music and theatre artists including Joe Chvala, Jeremy Bensussan, Rush Benson, Annie Enneking, Brian J Evans, Karla Grotting, Galen Higgins, Adam Kiesling, Kaleena Miller, Natalie Nowytski, Peter O'Gorman and Darrius Strong. FFF was nominated for a 2015 Sage Award for their tremendously popular performances of their immersive, participatory and deliriously fun version of Alice in Wonderland which featured a wildly talented cast along with a different group of local high school and middle school students in every show. 2015 also saw our highly-engaging and successful concerts the Cowles Center and The Guthrie. Look for FFF at the Cowles Center in April 2017 for our collaborative performance with Zorongo Flamenco. In June, FFF will present a new work, "Mystery of the Pig's Eye Manor" for the Flint Hills Children's Festival at The Ordway in St Paul.
