Edina Community Foundation

Big Ideas. Local Impact. A Stronger Edina.

Great communities don't just happen. They're built by people who care.

At the Edina Community Foundation (ECF), we believe that some of the best ideas for strengthening our community come from the people who know it best—our neighbors, local leaders, and organizations who see opportunities to make a difference and are inspired to take action.

Our role is to help turn those ideas into lasting impact.

Through our Community Impact Program (CIP), we partner with 26 organizations and community initiatives that are working to make Edina an even better place to live, work, and connect.

These partners bring creativity, passion, and a shared commitment to strengthening our community. Their work reflects the many ways people can make a difference, from supporting neighbors and creating opportunities to bringing people together around a common purpose.

We believe great ideas deserve the opportunity to grow.

For many grassroots organizations and community initiatives, the desire to make a difference is strong, but the resources and infrastructure needed to get started can be a challenge.

That's where the Edina Community Foundation comes in.

As a fiscal sponsor, ECF provides the charitable framework, financial oversight, and support that allow our Community Impact Partners to focus on what they do best: making a positive difference in Edina.

By helping remove barriers and providing a foundation for their charitable work, we empower local people and organizations to bring their ideas to life.

And we know that helping good ideas get started is only the beginning.

Through our Accelerator Fund, we're taking that commitment one step further. This fund provides targeted financial support to selected Community Impact Partners, helping them expand their programs, reach more people, and deepen their impact right here in Edina.

It's an investment in the people and organizations who are already doing meaningful work—and in the possibilities of what they can accomplish with additional support.

When you give to the Edina Community Foundation, you're investing in more than one organization. You're investing in the collective strength of our community.

You're helping create opportunities for local ideas to take shape, supporting the people who are passionate about making a difference, and strengthening the partnerships that help our community thrive.

We believe that when neighbors come together, share their talents, and support one another, incredible things can happen.

And that's what makes Edina special.

This Give to the Max Day, we invite you to be part of that impact.

Your generosity helps the Edina Community Foundation continue supporting the organizations, initiatives, and people who are making a meaningful difference in our community.

Together, we can build on what's already great about Edina while creating new opportunities for an even brighter future.

Because a stronger Edina doesn't happen by chance. It happens when people like you choose to make a difference.

Give where you live. Give where you connect. Give where you can make an impact.

Together, we're making Edina better for everyone.
