Love Louisiana's coast? Help us plant hope! The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana's (CRCL) mission is to unite people in action to achieve a thriving, sustainable Louisiana coast for all. We raise awareness of and educate people about coastal land loss, the implications for our communities and the urgent need to restore wetlands and natural ecosystems. Supporters like you have made CRCL Louisiana's most effective statewide organization advocating for coastal restoration!

Louisiana is losing rich, productive wetlands and the bounty and protection they provide our state at an alarming rate. CRCL champions the need to take action. Our team advocates to ensure that restoring our coast and protecting our communities are top priorities for our state and nation, and we provide the opportunity for residents to participate in protecting their future!

CRCL's restoration programs connect individuals with hands-on coastal climate solutions. Our Native Plants Program engages volunteers to restore our coastal wetlands by planting native plants and trees. Through our Oyster Shell Recycling Program, we use shells collected from local restaurants and households to build reefs that slow shoreline erosion and minimize storm surge during hurricanes.

CRCL also works directly with coastal communities to learn from those with local ecological knowledge about the impacts affecting our coast, and we share this and science-based information with our next generation to develop future coastal leaders.

Join us as we recycle, restore and advocate for our culture, economy and future!
