Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Minneapolis is a missions training and outreach center. We partner with local volunteers to impact our world!

We’re out to be compassionate followers of Jesus. Our vision is to bring justice and freedom to the hurting, the oppressed and the poor. We look at every people, every culture, and every nation as an expression of God’s creative artistry. Our mission field is the Amazon jungle and the city street. Our Programs:

The DTS is a five-month adventure of encountering God, and discovering His heart for you and for others. You will be changed, and you will change the world!  "To know God and to make Him known" has been the guiding purpose statement of YWAM for 50 years. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) focuses on what it means to "know God" intimately in a way that transforms how you see everything - God, others, yourself, and the world.

With Mission Adventures bring your group on a short-term outreach with Mission Adventures. Your team will gain valuable skills, experience and confidence--and they will help change lives in the process. Mission Adventures coordinates short-term outreaches for groups that want to make a difference in the world. Whether it be a church youth group, a school club, a family, or an athletic team-- our trips are well-organized, cost effective, and life-changing.

Kids Against Hunger is a food packing program helping to feed hungry children in our local community as well as starving children in Haiti and around the world.  Our packing events are funded and staffed by local volunteers of all ages – varying from Girl & Boy Scouts to Motorcycle clubs – and everything in-between!  Groups of 10-50 volunteers come to our Rockford location to package Rice/Soy/Vitamin meal packs in an assembly-line style.  Prior to each packing event, the group is introduced to the reality of Global Hunger – and practical ways each person can make a difference and change the reality of hunger around the world!  And during the 1 hour of food packing at each event each volunteer typically packs enough meals to feed over 200 hungry children!!
