The Wright County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting our county's history, including how it relates to the great state of Minnesota. We pride ourselves on offering an online, county genealogical research library second to none and galleries, programs and presentations for everyone.
For 2019-2020, our goal is to replace the floor tile in our Foyer Gallery. After 28 years of hard work and wear, it's time! The connecting Main Gallery's flooring was replaced in 2009, and the library remodel, thanks to a gift from the Ellison Family Trust, boasts matching flooring. We think it's time to connect the two, warm the gallery space and provide better sound absorption for our patrons.
There are many opportunities to support WCHS, including library resources (online and concrete), gallery and curatorial needs, and educational programming and presentations for all ages. Our professional operating budget is fuelled through grant-writing, fundraisers and the generosity of our donors--every financial gift, regardless of size, is great appreciated!
