Wood-N-Hearts

The mission at Wood-n-Hearts is to provide furniture to Veterans who have been displaced and are in need of assistance. We all share the responsibility to make sure people who have served our country are given the assistance they need. Having a nice bed to sleep in and a place to put their clothes will help them feel as if people really care about them. 

All contributions are tax-deductible and go toward building bedroom furniture sets to donate to our Veterans in need. One Veteran who was gifted a set described it as his security blanket. Imagine not having a bed to sleep in, your own pillow and blanket, and a place to put your belongings. It's a comfort most of us take for granted. It's a comfort needed by some Veterans to help them heal and progress to a better life.

"A complete set includes a bed frame with solid wood headboard, box spring and mattress, sheet set, comforter and pillow sham, solid wood 5-drawer chest, solid wood 2-drawer nightstand. The current cost for a set is about $2,300 and our goal with this fundraiser is to raise enough money to give seven (7) Veterans a "security blanket" and a good night's sleep.
