Our grants truly make a difference in our community. 

Our mission is to enhance the White Bear Lake Area School District's ability to provide excellence in education for all students. Support from donors like you has allowed WBLAEF the opportunity to fund several impactful district projects: $15,000 toward the purchase of an electric security vehicle for use at White Bear Lake Area High School, nearly $4,000 to benefit the WBLAHS Music Boosters campaign to purchase a grand piano, and in 2023 $18,250 to pay down school lunch balances. Since 1993, The Foundation has awarded over $1.2 million in classroom enhancement and teacher professional development grants and more than $446,000 to assist families with basic and emergency needs through the Angel Fund and The Closet. In 2024 alone WBLAEF awarded $105,200 in scholarships to graduates of White Bear Lake Area Schools and more than $13,000 to students and educators to enhance environmental experiences and awareness. As a 501(c)3 non profit organization, The White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation relies on volunteers and donor support to fulfill its mission.
