Westside Communities in Action (WCIA) is a non-profit charitable organization designed to bring together the needs of our neighbors with those who can help.  WCIA serves the suburbs on the Westside of Minneapolis.

WCIA wants to encourage activities in the community that foster an environment of caring for our neighbors.

People looking to volunteer or share their time, talents and resources will no longer have to spend hours searching multiple websites to find ways to give back in the local area. And, local service organizations have another resource to help fulfill their needs!

WCIA activities include family service fairs at local elementary schools (built on the Doing Good Together model), Girls Night Out for Good events, "Westside Cares" donation drives and a City of Plymouth Service Day. These provide families a springboard for active participation in charitable work throughout the year. The WCIA website also provides an easy way for neighbors to help neighbors year-around in a simple, easy-to-use format.

Westside Communities in Action is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff.  Funding is provided by donations from the general public.
