WBC MISSION:

The West Broadway Business & Area Coalition’s mission is to create an inviting and vital West Broadway Corridor,
and to transform the Northside into a thriving economic community.

This Give to The Max day, we are fundraising to support the development of the new WBC building. In 2025, WBC purchased the historic Four Directions High School located at 1113 West Broadway. Our plan is to transform this very special building into a community hub, while honoring the history of the school and our cultural corridor. 

West Broadway Avenue is a historically under-invested corridor where small businesses, especially BIPOC-owned, face critical barriers:

• High commercial rents
• Limited access to build-out-ready storefronts
• Lack of supportive infrastructure

This project builds on momentum from major public and private investments already taking place across Minneapolis and will provide opportunities for small businesses to scale while creating jobs for the community. We need your help to raise funds that will contribute towards the success and completion of this new project.
