WBSM's mission is to transform lives and the community through innovative music education and inspiring performances.

For 45 years, West Bank School of Music has been fostering a music community, providing an outlet and nurturing experienced and budding musicians alike. The concept that everyone should have a chance to learn and enjoy music is paramount to West Bank School of Music and is demonstrated through our commitment to removing barriers and going beyond the status quo of music education:

• Students of all ages benefit from our low cost and subsidized music lessons.
• Children receive general music education in their classrooms where they otherwise wouldn’t.
• Jug Band classes cultivate an appreciation for repurposing objects through music making.
• Young women build confidence through our Girls Rock Band camps.
• Dulcimer to trombone, opera to hip hop, all share a home in West Bank School of Music.
