The West Bank Business Association serves small businesses in the West Bank neighborhood of Minneapolis. Our businesses are primarily immigrant-owned small businesses and self-employed artists working in our local theater and entertainment scene. We have worked hard over the last year and half to help our businesses survive the pandemic.

WBBA staff continues to assist hundreds of businesses survive the covid pandemic by providing technical support in accessing grants, loans and tax credits, and updating businesses regarding the latest requirements and opportunities.

Our team provides free technical assistance to businesses through the Minneapolis BTAP program. This includes support for legal, regulatory, accounting, marketing, and social media.

WBBA administers Minneapolis funding for small business grants such as façade improvement grants and the cultural districts interior improvements forgivable loan program. We also assist businesses access other resources such as low interest loans, energy rebates, and green cost share funding.

We promote our fabulous West Bank district through a variety of marketing efforts. We also advocate for the neighborhood regarding transit, biking, land use, and safety programming. WBBA runs an ambassador program to keep our neighborhood clean, connect visitors to businesses and local youth to programming and resources.
