The Washburn Arts Council (WAC) is a committed group of parent advocates who partner with Washburn faculty to support all Washburn Arts programs. We organize fundraising efforts, build community relationships, and raise recognition about the value of arts.
Our main fundraiser is the Washburn Whirl - an annual event featuring entertainment by student singers, musicians, and performing artists. You can learn more about the Washburn Whirl here: washburnarts.org/whirl/
Our proud tradition of excellence in the arts curriculum and programming is directly due to the generosity of parents, alumni, extended family, local businesses, and neighbors. Every dollar makes a difference. WAC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
