Welcome to Warrior Dog's Give to the Max page!
Warrior Dog continues to work hard and save the lives of the dogs who are left wandering or abandoned. In 2024, we continued to work hard to rescue the dogs who have come across our path.
As always for Warrior Dog Rescue, our goal for this year's and the years coming is to be able to say "YES" to the abandoned and neglected pups as often as we can.
In 2024, Warrior Dog Rescue has been able to say "yes" to 503 dogs and since our start in 2017, Warrior Dog has saved 3,787 dogs with vet bills totaling over 2,000,000 spanning our 7 years of rescue.
The fate of the ones left roaming is unthinkable. There are so many left wandering, alone and sick or left abandoned in the shelters. Thankfully, with the help of our donors and the Warrior Dog Community, Warrior Dog will continue to save and continue to be able to say "YES" to every dog who needs us.
For Give to the Max 2024, Warrior Dog invites you to become part of our community and join us on this journey!
We will use Warrior Dog Rescue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country.
To give back to other non-profit organizations that share our same end goal of ending dog homelessness, we have launched a program called "Unchained". This program sends groups of our trained volunteers to our partner in Alabama where we work in the shelters alongside their volunteers and help them with the needs in the community.
We see the need for responsible dog rescues across the country and realize the need is not just in our own state. Every single dog deserves to live in a good home… every single one of them. We will do what we can with the resources we have to provide every dog that crosses our path with a chance at the “good dog life”. In saying that, we can only commit to what we can do with the funds that we raise and the funds that are donated.
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a thorough adoption process which includes a detailed application, education about responsible ownership, and a completed home visit and reference check.
