Preserving and Presenting the History of Wadena County
The Wadena County Historical Society collects and preserves documents and artifacts that represent the unique history of Wadena County. Open to the public Tuesday - Saturday from 10 to 4, the facility features a beautiful museum and an amazing research library. Recently, the Wadena County Historical Society has expanded their outreach to the community with a wide range of exhibits and programs.
Because of the support from people like you, the Wadena County Historical Society has become the ‘go to’ place for questions on family history, property records, and stories about the people, places and events of Wadena County.
