Vine Arts Center

Welcome to the Vine Arts Center, a member-run gallery for emerging and established artists.  Founded in 2008, we are located in the culturally and historically rich Seward Neighborhood in South Minneapolis and are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit artist organization. 

Currently we are showcasing more than 25 local and regional artists.  We are supported by our membership and individual donations. We offer monthly gallery showings for our members and community artists, as well as space for music performances and presentations.

Because we value our neighborhood and city, we host community programs during and in between shows. In January 2026, we invited local vendors to the gallery to sell their art and donate all their profits to the Immigrant Law Center and CTUL Emergency Funding.  The Seward Historical Society presented a show called Massacre at Flour City, that focussed on labor unrest in 1936 centered in the Seward area. In the fall each year, we also host an annual fundraiser for Soup For You, an organization providing free lunches.
