Vine Arts Center is a non-profit, member-run organization supporting emerging and established artists, partnering with the community, and providing space and support for visiting shows and events.

In May, 2020, like so many other organizations and businesses in the Twin Cities, our beloved gallery was damaged during the civil unrest that gripped our city; resulting in our closure. Now, we've repaired or replaced the floor, walls, fans, windows, and lighting. We have art on the walls!! - but we still need your help! To keep the gallery running smoothly all year long we now need infrastructure - for example a computer, printer, industrial sink, filing cabinets, storage containers, and a refrigerator. Your donations will be a great help!

In 2022 we dedicated the Vine Arts Center in memory of Howard Gelb without whose generosity and support the Vine Arts Center would not exist. He transformed the Flour City Ornamental Iron Works Building into the Ivy Building for the Arts and made this space available for the Vine Arts Center.

In 2023 we hosted several shows both for members and non members. We welcome proposals from artists to create shows for the gallery. To close our member show "Rising From The Ashes" this year we resumed our annual fundraiser for Soup For You Cafe a community mainstay that provides free and low cost lunches., bringing the community together over food. We also welcomed 5 new members and look forward to welcoming more.

We look forward to welcoming back the Twin Cities community to our gallery! We welcome the opportunity to bring you into the gallery for a private tour. Contact us at info@vineartscenter.org.
