Your gift helps creates opportunities for our communities to produce culturally relevant food.  

By creating space for public and market gardens in urban areas, we address the health needs of our people and planet while building food systems for future generations, and nourishing our elders too. We believe that sustainable agriculture creates healthy communities. 

When you support The Village, you help provide land access, farm tools, farming knowledge and resources. You support a Farmer's Market and the buying and transporting of produce to food shelves. 

In the end your gift will be giving families the opportunities to grow food to feed their families, earn additional income by selling their produce at our Farmer's Market and connect to their cultural by growing their native produce. 

Our Impact:

We connect more than 200 families with land access to grow their own food.  

• 30% of our farmers preserve more than 100 pounds of food per year, primarily through freezing. 

• Culturally specific greens are the #1 food that our farmers preserve. 

• 40% of our farmers are interested in growing their own farm business and earning income from farming. 

• 15% report earning "life-changing" income through the food they sell from their farm.

• 45% are interested in participating in our technical assistance programs to grow their own business.
