Veteran Resilience Project (VRP) is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization founded in 2015 to inspire lifelong change for Minnesota Veterans and Service Members experiencing Trauma and PTS(D), by creating access to effective therapy as a pathway to heal.
VRP provides free EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to all Veterans and Service Members with PTS(D) and trauma through a network of trained Therapists. VRP’s program helps to save and profoundly improve the quality of a Veteran’s life yet to be lived.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like yourself, we’ve expanded access to EMDR therapy across Minnesota. EMDR is highly effective and noninvasive as a treatment for trauma and PTS(D), and an integral part of an effective suicide prevention strategy for MN Veterans. Nearly 90% of participants in our program said this therapy was helpful to them.
Due to legislative cuts in funding to Minnesota Veteran nonprofits this year, we need your help now more than ever. We are urgently seeking support to sustain free EMDR therapy for the Minnesota military community. A monthly donation would help close a critical gap in coverage, ensuring Veterans facing PTSD, suicidal ideation, Military Sexual Trauma, and other service-related injuries aren’t left waiting for care.
We are deeply grateful for any amount you are able to give. With your help, we can ensure Veterans receive the care they deserve and take meaningful steps toward healing and hope. Please spread the word about the availability of this care in your community, and help ensure this type of treatment remains accessible for those who deserve it.
Thank you for standing with Veterans.

We need your support to:
1. Reduce the prevalence of PTSD and trauma symptoms in Veterans through using EMDR therapy.
2. Effectively address Military Sexual Trauma (MST) with EMDR therapy.
3. Prevent severe mental illness and suicide amongst Veterans and Service Members in Minnesota.
4. Raise awareness of the effectiveness of EMDR therapy by building connections with organizations serving Veterans.
