Right now, families in our community are making impossible choices every day. They’re choosing between groceries and medication, between paying rent and feeding their children. Many are visiting a food pantry for the first time because groceries simply cost more than their paycheck can stretch.

Even with SNAP benefits restored and incredible community generosity, families are still struggling. Food prices remain high, federal nutrition program cuts continue, and more neighbors than ever are relying on VEAP.

Every year, VEAP distributes over 4 million pounds of food (half of which is fresh produce!) to more than 200,000 people in our community. And right now, we're sending out more than 350,000 pounds of food every single month. 

That's the equivalent of nearly 10 fully loaded semitrucks filled with food, month after month - a scale of support made possible by donors like you!
