Mission

Until We Are All Free is a  human rights organization led by formerly incarcerated criminal justice experts. We focus on building capital, resources and support to provide pathways to civic and economic liberation for individuals disenfranchised by mass incarceration.

Our Philosophy.

We believe the only pathway to liberation is through holistic, trauma-informed relationships with the individuals we serve.  Our foundational values are centered in healing, community, integrity, joy, culture, individuality, dedication and commitment. We seek out the expertise of people who have first-hand experience with human rights violations such as Mass Incarceration, and provide them with the space and resources they need to restore their humanity and return to our communities as valued neighbors and invaluable partners in our fight for freedom.

We understand that the most valuable resource on earth is our people, and we honor the gifts, talents, and full lives of each person in our communities by investing in the internal capital of our people and by creating spaces and pathways for each of us toward freedom. Our Vision is to see all of us with the space and resources we need to restore our humanity and return to our communities as valued neighbors, until we are all free.

Our Strategy In Action

We build capital, resources, and support for our missing community of world changers that are stuck behind bars or fresh out of a Minnesota prison. With a broken and failing justice system here in America, our focus is on supporting the men, women, and youth who have had a portion of there lives stolen by the justice system through harsh laws and policies.

Our Consulting Team.

UWAAF operates with two visionary leaders who utilize each other’s experiences and expertise in the Justice system  to create the solutions we need to see in the community and in community organizations serving individuals with justice system involvement. As UWAAF continues to grow and evolve, we will develop specific roles to fill our team with our brothers and sisters who are released or soon to be coming home.

Our Services.

Our services come primarily through our three programs: Internal Investment to our incarcerated leaders, Frontline Support for the men and women coming home, and our Leadership Onboarding program, providing the wisdom to navigate and leverage skills for economic liberation.
