University of Minnesota Band Alumni Society

All donations will be put towards providing scholarships to band students at the University of Minnesota and promoting special projects (commissioning new pieces, new instruments for University ensembles, etc.) and other events.

UMBAS is made up of all those who have participated in the U of M band program. We have over 300 active members, and participate in such activities as U of M homecoming, the MN State Fair, the Aquatennial Parade, and playing for tailgaters prior to U of M home football games. Our mission is to keep alumni involved with the U of M, and to support current students in the band program through scholarships, care packages, social events, and mentoring.
