UC Hope

UC Hope is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 which focuses on helping families with needs in the communities of Dilworth, Glyndon and Felton, Minnesota. We work closely with area churches, police departments and D-G-F school administration/counselors to assess needs. In the past year we have provided the following:

• Food, clothing and household items donated at our thrift store to families who need assistance. 

• Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Food Baskets to families who would not have otherwise had a good meal. 

• Partnered with D-G-F Schools to create an onsite Rebel HOPE Chest which has provided clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, and food to 141+ D-G-F students in need.

• Developed the UC Hope Kids Club afterschool program where students learn through a social-emotional learning model. 

• Sponsored lunches in the park for the City of Dilworth and City of Glyndon Police Departments. 

• Partnered with the City of Glyndon Police Dept. and DGF Music Program to buy Christmas gifts for families in need. 

• Developed a UC Hope Community Grant Program to fund projects which enhance and strengthen the DGF community. 

• Provided college scholarships to high school seniors going into a service-related field of study. 

• Delivered “gifts of hope” throughout the year for residents at both Serenity Assisted Living and Red River Recovery. 

• Provided the Fire Departments in Dilworth, Glyndon and Felton with funds to purchase safety equipment to keep them safe! 

• Assisted families who are experiencing hardships such as house fires and medical bills / travel costs.
