Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association Inc

The Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association (THYHA) was organized in 1947 and currently functions as a 501©(3) organization and has been and is led by a group of caring and dedicated volunteers who want to provide as many children living within our association boundaries with the opportunity to play organized hockey. The Association is governed by an elected and appointed Board of Directors composed of interested parents and community members. THYHA is a member of Minnesota Hockey, US Hockey and Minnesota’s District 11. THYHA determines the number of teams and level of play based on an anticipated number of players registering for hockey. THYHA understands and promotes the idea of skill development and puck touches with our youth hockey athletes. In establishing our teams at each level, THYHA will attempt to have teams with younger players will have fewer players per team to encourage and increase puck touches and older players will have more players to compensate for the challenges and physical nature of play. THYHA does believe in a community-based hockey program and believes that children playing within their association boundaries provides the best hockey experience for families.
