OUR MISSION: Her Voice Productions is an inclusive community that sings, performs, and affirms the voices of girls and women.

OUR HISTORY: Twin Cities Women’s Choir (TCWC) began in August 1997 with a volunteer director, a volunteer accompanist, 14 singers, and $200 to purchase music. Since our inception we have grown to an organization with three programs: Twin Cities Women’s Choir (TCWC), Twin Cities Girls’ Choir (TCGC), and ENCORE!, and in 2018 we became  Her Voice Productions (HVP), the organizational umbrella for all of these programs.

WHAT WE NEED: Your financial support so we can continue to grow our Girls' Choir programming, hire staff that exudes our mission, and continue to find ways to strengthen communities through song.

We need to raise $10,000 to help offset increases in technology costs, guest artist fees, and most importantly offset overhead associated with reduced performance abilities.

THIS SEASON: Emerging from two seasons of virtual and outdoor programming, we are more than excited and movitate to embody our mission and launch all of our programs with full, in-person singing! This season we celebrate TCWC's 25th Anniversary and began our season with over 130 female voices! The Twin Cities Girls' Choirs are back and growing more and more each week with nearly 40 singers. Our one and only auditioned ensemble, ENCORE! is preparing for a season full of collaborations with other female-centered musical organizations such as She Rock! She Rock! and Sea Change Treble Choir.

WHO WE ARE: We are a woman-led and woman-run organization. TCWC and TCGC are the only non-auditioned choirs for women and girls in the Twin Cities, and TCWC is the only free-to-participate choral program in Minnesota for women. Across programming, we are a unique mix LGBTQ+ identifying people and straight allies with a commitment to fostering an ongoing and positive LGBTQ+ presence in our community. While we are predominantly white, we do have varied ethnic/cultural and religious representation. We safely include singers who are vision-impaired, physically disabled, and living with an array of emotional and mental health needs.
