Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that promote character development through golf.

First Tee Minnesota is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.    The core values of golf, including respect, responsibility, integrity, and perseverance are essential life skills that build character and help youth develop into successful members of their communities.

Our proven research (An independent, four-year, longitudinal research study can be found at www.firsttee.org under Impact Report) shows that of the young people that continue in The First Tee Program:

59% showed respect for themselves and towards others

60% exhibited personal and social responsibility

63% demonstrated honesty

73% reported high confidence in their ability to do well academically

82% felt confident in the social skills
