Tri-County Action Program, Inc.(Tri-CAP) Helping People. Changing Lives.

Last year alone, Tri-CAP provided assistance to over 12,500 Central Minnesota families helping them to achieve or maintain social and economic self-sufficiency. For 58 years, Tri-CAP has been fulfilling its mission to invest in people and build the communities that comprise our tri-county region of Central Minnesota through advocacy, outreach, education, and assistance.

Mission

The mission of Tri-County Action Program, Inc., Tri-CAP, is to expand opportunities for the economic and social well-being of our residents and our communities.

Programs

Tri-CAP provides services and programs that empower residents of our area to successfully achieve their goals of economic stability. Program areas include basic needs such as transportation, donated car program, energy assistance, housing, and food access. Self Sufficiency programs include financial literacy classes, tax assistance, and Rebuilding Lives.  Stability building programs include Weatherization and asset building.
