From our courageous beginnings of a teen support group held in our founder, Fred Peterson’s home, to training and equipping over 80 network sites worldwide, our ministry has always been rooted in hope. Teens worldwide define hope differently, often demonstrating deep struggles with loneliness, depression, anxiety, and suicidal intentions. But for the teens we walk alongside at TreeHouse, we unleash hope.
Our vision is for every teen to be rooted in hope -- unleashing untold potential in communities everywhere. Since our inception, TreeHouse has served almost 40,000 teens at our sites worldwide, creating a culture of friendship, connection, and adventure, as we end hopelessness among teens.
This year, we've highlighted Nyaa's beautiful story of transformation, as she paved her way to a hopeful future she never thought possible.
“There’s nothing in the world like TreeHouse culture, and we bring pieces of that culture everywhere we go. I saw my life enriched with friendship, connection, and adventure that I didn’t think was possible for me as a kid. I began to apply and slowly started to live out the principle of “leading with love.” TreeHouse taught me that I can do hard things like advocate for myself instead of remaining in unhealthy situations. Treehouse taught me how to lead with love, by showing me the real Gospel. Treehouse taught me that I am lovable, capable, and worthwhile. TreeHouse is family, TreeHouse is love, TreeHouse is hope.”
