When Teens Hurt, TreeHouse Shows Up
As Give to the Max comes to a close, every dollar you give will be matched up to $10,000, helping us reach our $20,000 goal and making room for more teens like Allison to find hope, healing, and a mentor who will believe in them even when they cannot yet believe in themselves.
Every day, teens are carrying more than their hearts were made to hold. Anxiety, loneliness, and questions about their worth weigh on them as they step into classrooms, walk home, or lie awake at night wondering if anyone truly sees them.
In the three-part story we are sharing today, Allison put words to what so many teens feel but rarely say out loud. She described a life shaped by struggle, isolation, and a deep belief that she did not matter. Yet through TreeHouse, she found a safe place to breathe, a community that welcomed her, and mentors who reflected the unconditional love of Jesus.
Impact of Mentoring
She told us, “Day in and day out they believed it in me when I did not believe it in myself. I would not have claimed I was worthwhile and I would not have claimed I had a future, not until Mandy forced me to sign up for a scholarship.”
Through grace-based support groups and Christ-centered mentoring, teens discover they are lovable, capable, and worthwhile. They learn they are loved without strings and never alone. They begin to understand they have a future because God created them with purpose and sees them fully.
This is the heart of TreeHouse.
Double your impact today
Give today. Be the reason one more teen takes a step from fear toward hope, and from darkness toward the light of Christ.
