Transfiguration Catholic School, in Oakdale, MN,  seeks to foster in our students the goals of knowing, loving, and serving God in this life, in order to enjoy Him forever in the next.  We are committed to the unity of faith and reason, forming students as faith-filled, intelligent, virtuous, confident, courageous young people who will live, learn, and share their Catholic faith for the rest of their lives.  Our educational philosophy emphasizes the Virtues, the Catholic intellectual tradition, and rigorous academic excellence, setting as our ultimate goal the preparation of students for lives that transfigure the world in Christ Jesus.

Our beautiful Oakdale campus features an expansive library, as well as classroom and hallway windows that overlook our nature preserve with wetlands and wildlife. Students are given the opportunity to explore the nature preserve, as well its prayer garden and bird houses, and learn about the habitat there first hand.
We also have a large hard wood floor gymnasium and several athletic fields to support our commitment to our athletic programs and physical health.

Since its founding in 1953, Transfiguration Catholic School’s warm and inclusive atmosphere has been derived from our community’s deep appreciation of what each individual gives to the Transfiguration family. Even in our beginnings, we were known as a place for community, belonging, and social service. Transfiguration Catholic School is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA).
