The Tracy Area Medical Foundation (Tracy, Minnesota) was founded in 1999 exclusively for charitable and educational purposes for maintaining and improving the health care services in the Sanford Tracy Medical Center service area.

The Tracy Area Medical Foundation Board is currently comprised of 8 area community members representing Tracy, Garvin, Balaton, Walnut Grove, Currie, Milroy and Marshall.

One of the main fundraisers for the Tracy Area Medical Foundation is their Fall Golf Classic, held every year on the 1st Friday after Labor Day, in September. With the generous support of local and area businesses and individuals, the Tracy Area Medical Foundation has been able to purchase numerous pieces of equipment for the Sanford Tracy Medical Center in the past 14 years. Some pieces include a Diaton Tanometer Pen, Defibrilattor LifePaks, a Glidescope, a mobile bladder scanner, power exam tables in the WG and Balaton clinics, electronic baby/infant scale and in 2017, a stretcher with built-in scale.

The Tracy Area Medical Foundation has also provided multiple scholarships to local individuals that chose a degree in the medical field and to staff for continuing education. In addition, the Foundation awards two Tracy Area High School Seniors who intend to pursue a degree in healthcare with a $500 scholarship each year. The scholarship program encourages community members to pursue their goals and in turn, return to our local facility and support local health care.

The Tracy Area Medical Foundation has multiple avenues for donation, including the Tracy Area Medical Foundation Membership. For more information on how to donate, please contact us.
