The Tips Outdoors Foundation provides youth and better - families with fun hands-on outdoor educational experiences!  It's incredibly rewarding to witness families go closer to one another by spending quality time together in the great outdoors participating in traditional outdoor activities that anyone can learn how to do!

The Tips Outdoors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit that provides fun hands-on outdoor educational experiences for youth and families. We train Certified Outdoor Mentors to share their outdoor skills and knowledge with youth and families to introduce them to traditional outdoor sports and activities with the purpose of building family values. Tips Outdoors also supports other nonprofits by partnering with corporate sponsors to produce outdoor sports-related special events. The purpose of each special event is to raise funding and awareness of the nonprofit's mission and outcomes by utilizing all types of media.

Since 2009 Tips Outdoors and our volunteers and Certified Outdoor Mentors through our outdoor educational experiences across the state of Minnesota have helped thousands of youth and families learn how to participate in, and enjoy traditional outdoor activities and sports, i.e. fishing, archery (new), camping, etc. Through our efforts, we have and are making a difference by creating new generations of active, outdoor enthusiasts, and knowledgable outdoors men and women that are the present and future foundation of our traditional outdoor activities and sports now and well into the future.

But we need your help!

We have set a goal of raising at least $20,000 by the end of 2021. There is a great need for us to expand our hands-on outdoor educational experiences for all the youth, families, and community-based organizations who want - need our programs. Funding will also go towards our Certified Outdoor Mentoring Training program so we can provide many more Outdoor Mentors to help youth groups and families learn and grow in their outdoor knowledge and skills. Our Outdoor Mentors share their outdoor knowledge and skills with youth and parent(s)/guardian(s) at our outdoor educational experiences (events). Tips Outdoors Mentors have to first pass a BCA background check and complete our Certified Outdoor Mentor Training program before they help any youth and/or families.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has exploded the need for our programs! We did not have the funding needed to expand and provide all the outdoor educational experiences youth groups and families wanted - needed in 2021. We wanted to say "YES" to all who wanted our programs in 2021. We want to and we hope to provide our programs and mentors to all the youth groups and families who want them in 2022.  To fund all the programs needed in 2022 and into the future is a very high goal to reach. But with your generous donation and everyone working together, we can help thousands of youth and parents/guardians enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors! Please consider making an annual donation today of $50.00 or more, or a $20.00 monthly recurring donation to Tips Outdoors.....but any amount will help us reach our goal. Your donation goes directly to our outdoor educational experience and to train and certify many more Outdoor Mentors to help the youth and families enjoy our traditional outdoor activities and sports together.  We encourage youth and families to attend as many of our public fun, hands-on outdoor educational experiences as they need to grow and feel confident in their new outdoor knowledge and abilities. We want Everyone to have the opportunity to learn traditional outdoor activities they might not otherwise have....

The Tips Outdoors Foundation is a fully accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible.

Youth and Families Thank You for Your Generous Donation!
