Each year, we celebrate how our parks enrich lives and connect people to the natural world in ways that inspire joy, learning, and community.

Your Give to the Max Day gift helps open the outdoors to everyone. By strengthening the Three Rivers Park District Foundation’s ability to connect people and parks, your support fuels the people, partnerships, and work that make nature more accessible for all. Through this support, the Foundation invests in initiatives like:

• Adapted Recreation Programs – open the door to outdoor experiences for people of all abilities, including children, veterans, and seniors.
• Pathways Internships – provide youth and young adults, in particular those facing barriers to employment, with meaningful work experiences and a pathway into conservation and parks careers.
• Transportation Assistance – helps school groups and community members from underrepresented areas reach our parks by removing transportation barriers and expanding access to nature for those with financial need.

Three Rivers Park District Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit philanthropic partner to Three Rivers Park District. We collaborate closely with the District to increase access to nature and outdoor recreation for all.

Three Rivers Park District provides environmental education programs, recreation, conservation, and stewardship throughout its 27,000+ acre system of parks, nature centers, and trails, across the Twin Cities metro area. Your home to the outdoors.
