The mission of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra is to sustain a world-class chamber orchestra at the highest standards of artistic excellence that enriches the Twin Cities community by sharing dynamic, distinctive and engaging performances. We are actively committed to accessibility and intentional inclusivity in all aspects of our work and continually strive to provide all people in our community with opportunities to connect with the music we perform.
The SPCO has long been dedicated to delivering transformational musical experiences to as many people in our community as possible, and even though we cannot gather in person, we are proud to be with you through our free digital Concert Library. Thanks to the support of audience members like you, we are able to broadcast six new live performances from the Ordway Concert Hall, as well as four “encore broadcasts” featuring music from previously recorded concerts in our online Concert Library this fall. We have seen record-breaking use of the Concert Library, and have heard from many in the community that access to these recordings provides a respite and feeling of connection during this challenging time:
“Thank you so much for streaming these live performances. I support your goal of making the music available to all regardless of financial means.”
“Fabulous program, sensational performances, and an uplifting gift during such times.”
“We have enjoyed the variety of formats available for online viewing. Creative virtual experiences will get us through these tough times.”

In addition to our Concert Library audience, the SPCO is proud to serve more than 150,000 people each year through concerts at 15 regular venues in neighborhoods across the Twin Cities and offer the most affordable ticket prices of any professional orchestra in the United States, including free tickets for children and students. All of this is only possible because of audience support. In fact, philanthropic contributions are our largest and most sustainable source of revenue.
Combined with the support of thousands of community members like you, your donation makes an incredible impact and is especially important during this time. We hope you'll consider making a gift of any size to the SPCO's Annual Fund today to support these initiatives and more.
With your support, the SPCO will not only weather this crisis but will continue to share transformational performances with our community today and for years to come. Thank you for helping us to share the power of music with people everywhere.
