The 30-Days Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$22,623 raised by 129 donors

Founded in 2010 by Twin Cities musician Mick Sterling, The 30-Days Foundation assists Minnesotans in real-life financial crisis by providing a one-time financial grant that is made payable only to the service provider requiring payment.

Since 2011, The 30-Days Foundation has fulfilled nearly 110,000 requests for assistance for matters such as back rent, first month rent, utility bills, medical bills, school clothes, car repairs, sober house assistance, birth certificate renewals, moving fees, storage fees and more.  In effect, the everyday financial obligations that if remain unpaid, lead to further debt and potential eviction from homes or apartments, vehicle being repossessed and more.

Important to Know:

  • It's very simple to request assistance. Simply go to www.The30-DaysFoundation.org and fill out the simple application online.  An advocate helping you can fill it out, or the individual themselves can fill it out.  There is no office visit required.

How We Provide Grants:

  • All payments are made in check form to a particular business that needs payment.  A gift card grant would be a fuel card. No cash or direct payments are given to the person requesting help
  • Even though we are from the Twin Cities, we assist anyone in the state of Minnesota.

There are hundreds of great charities in the state of Minnesota. We would like to think we are one of them.  Please consider us and thank you for reading this.
