ABOUT US:

The Lighthouse is a charitable organization with the aim of organizing a positive, enriching environment which will lead to an improved quality of life for at-risk children in Haiti. The organization’s projects, implemented by well-trained staff members, will work as a change agent for the children by providing them with their most fundamental needs in order to redirect the course of their lives. The Lighthouse exists to provide the many struggling children with a thorough foundation for future success by implementing a holistic approach, providing a safe place to access community resources and supporting the development of self-confidence, healthful living, good judgment, and character-building.  

The Lighthouse seeks out opportunities for community outreach which involves providing basic health services, counseling, clothing and personal items, and spiritual guidance for the children and residents in the nearby community. The funds received through the entirety of the organization’s activities will be used exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and will not be used for personal gains of any sort.
