As Maryam, puts it, "it was the best 14-weeks of my life" and another graduate, Akalu, joyfully shares "it fosters a sense of community and the support that makes the students feel like they are part of a family."  

Sailesh did self-paced training for 4-years and had no luck finding a job in tech until after he graduated from TechFluent. He shares that at TechFluent he learned that "in addition to the hard work, you also need a network."

TechFluent's mission is to increase diversity within tech and reduce income equality. We offer a 6-month training, mentorship and career services program to individuals from underserved communities to help them launch their career in tech.

The benefit of TechFluent is two-fold, it helps open doors for those from underserved communities to start fulfilling, lucrative and flexible jobs in tech. Our goal is to reduce the barriers of entry into the tech space and we’re firm believers that a 4-year degree and computer science education are not a requirement to be successful in tech. In fact, we teach our learners out to build custom apps, automation and chat-bots without ever writing code!  With the recent improvements in AI, we are on the cusp of a technological evolution, unlike anything we've seen before. The technology industry is rapidly expanding and needs more talent, but especially more diverse talent. 

At TechFluent, we believe that fostering greater diversity is not only essential for the advancement of the industry but also holds the key to fostering innovation and making sure that as AI and other technology platforms that they are built by a diverse demographic. Our program, resources and services are FREE for our enrolled participants. 

Your contribution matters – help us enroll 100 learners in 2024! The demand for this assistance and training is high, this year our application numbers tripled, and we had to turn away 75% of the qualified candidates due to lack of resources. We expect the application numbers to grow at the same rate for 2024.
