The Lake Country Chorus has been empowering women and entertaining the community since 1968. We have also participated in service and community events.
This has been an exciting year for us!. In April we participated in our regional contest, placing 3rd in our division and 5th overall. In May, our parent organization chamged its name to SingUnited International in an effort to rebrand and update its image. We sang at church services this summer and did a couple of other performances in the community, including for the retirement of our founding member. In August, we were invited to join several other barbershoppers and Sweet Adelines around the area to sing The Star Spangled Banner at the Saints game.
Once again this year, we are teaming up with the Greater St. Paul North Star Chorus to perform two Christmas shows: one at Roseville Lutheran Church on Sunday, November 29th at 3:00; and the other at Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00. It will be exciting to sing with them again! We have some great music planned, and we hope to see you there.
Visitors are welcome to join us at any time! For more information, visit www.lakecountrychorus.org (Lake Country Chorus of SingUnited, dba Sweet Adelines)
We can't wait to see what the future holds for us next year!
