Superior Cycling Association

2024 has been another impactful year for the Superior Cycling Association (SCA).  

We rehabilitated 8 miles (80%) of the Pincushion Mountain Trail system to be a fresh take on the classic amazing riding terrain that started single track riding in the area.  The trails and boardwalks were widened to 48" to allow adaptive riders to enjoy the entire Pincushion system.  Trails become one directional so you can take advantage of the great fluvial downhills.   Optional features like technical climbs and drops, rideoffs, kickers, and gap jumps make the riding even more fun for all riders.  

We look forward to 2025 as we will be hiring our first Executive Director to help us carry out our mission of creating and sustaining mountain bike riding trails and culture for all to enjoy in the stunning terrain and beauty of the North Shore of Lake Superior.  The position will be a 1 year position for 2025 but with your donation we will to turn the position into a full time year round position that will make huge forward progress for mountain biking in the area.  Please donate today to support mountain biking trails, events and culture in Northeast Minnesota!
