Summit Hill Association is your neighborhood association dedicated to enhancing the quality of life within the district, making it a vibrant and thriving community. We do this through active and transparent communication with our neighbors and facilitated, productive interactions between the district and City of St. Paul departments. We believe in the power of community and the potential of a shared vision where the community can come together, play, relax, and create beautiful memories.

Our Shared Vision

Our vision for Linwood Park is to create a safe, vibrant, and inclusive space that all community members can enjoy. This year, we asked you to share your ideas as we Reimagine Linwood Park. And we heard you!

You said you want high-quality play equipment to meet the diverse needs of the community. A place to exercise, relax, play, picnic, listen to an outdoor concert, and more. We are excited to be able to lead in the creation of a space to come together and connect as a community. 

Together with the St. Paul Parks & Rec Department, St. Paul Conservancy,  and Kaboom, a renowned nonprofit organization specializing in community-built playgrounds, we will begin with revitalizing Linwood Park's playspace. 

“The City of St. Paul and KABOOM! are excited to prioritize revitalizing Linwood Park as part of their 25 in 5 Initiative to End Playspace Inequity partnership. Contingent on fundraising, the project at Linwood Park will take place in 2024,” said Josh Henson, Associate Director, Regional Partnerships at KABOOM!

Our Goal

Our goal is to transform Linwood Park with a particular vision for:

1.      A Safe and Vibrant Playspace: We want children to play freely and safely, so we aim to replace outdated equipment with new, state-of-the-art play structures that foster imagination, physical activity, and social interaction. Your support will directly contribute to creating a space where kids can explore, learn, and grow.

2.      Beautiful Landscaping: Picture flowers and shrubs creating a space where families can relax, have picnics, or enjoy the beauty of nature. With your help, we'll transform Linwood Park into an inviting community asset, making it a welcoming spot for all.

3.      Additional Amenities: Community gatherings, events, and social activities are essential to building strong bonds within our neighborhood. We plan to include amenities places to get together and enjoy the park.
