Working with you to preserve and restore Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior and protect Sugarloaf Cove.
Founded in 1993 to protect and restore beautiful Sugarloaf Cove, Sugarloaf: The North Shore Stewardship Association promotes the restoration and preservation of the entire North Shore. We offer fun, educational programs for all ages at the Cove, and are teaching North Shore landowners how to become better stewards of their land through our forest restoration and invasive plant control efforts. Sugarloaf is a 501-c-3 nonprofit. We appreciate the support of our donors.
Please help Sugarloaf as we wrap up 2023 and get ready for 2024.
As we look toward 2024, Sugarloaf's future is bright and exciting Your membership renewals and generous donations will support:
Our Purpose - To drive the appreciation and protection of beautiful Sugarloaf Cove and to work with neighbors and partners to restore the North Shore Forest.
Our Place - From it's amazing geology to it's recent logging history, Sugarloaf Cove has been through a millennial of changes to become what it is today - a thriving nature center that highlights the marvels of the North Shore.
Our People - Without our staff, volunteers and donors, we wouldn't exist. If you have attended a program at Sugarloaf Cove, been greeted by a volunteer or taken part in our Lost Forest program, you know how special our staff and volunteers are.
To keep our Purpose, Place and People healthy, we need your support.
We have a goal of raising $40,000 during the 4th quarter of 2023, including $5000 through Give to the Max Day, to continue to improve Sugarloaf and realize our goals. Please assist us by renewing your membership and or making a general donation on this Give to the Max Day.
We appreciate your support!
