Committed and Experienced Faculty

Our experienced staff and faculty work to ensure each student flourishes in a Christ-centered community where they are known, loved, and valued.  The faculty at St. Peter Catholic School are more than educators; they are a committed team of Christians openly sharing their vocation and love of Jesus with enthusiasm and dedication. It's their goal to help each student flourish and discover their God-given talents and interests as they explore reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, and the arts.

Rigorous Academics Experienced in Small Class Sizes

At St. Peter Catholic School, we take learning seriously; after all, it's our primary purpose to prepare young minds for their future endeavors. We offer small sizes, with teacher's aids in each of our elementary classrooms, to ensure students not only grasp their lessons, but also excel at them. Our small class sizes ensure each student receives the attention they need to master their lessons. Our middle school students participate in Socratic Seminars, where they tackle challenging texts and discuss them in small groups to develop their critical thinking and comprehension skills.

Unique Learning Experiences

St. Peter Catholic School supplements the academic curriculum for its students in many areas. Students from preschool through grade 8 participate in our Guild Classroom, where they experience hands-on learning and problem-solving through our unique STEM curriculum.

Their creative skills are challenged and expanded through regular art instruction, their bodies are strengthened through physical education, and team sports such as soccer, volleyball, track, swimming, and basketball through our participation in the Catholic Athletic Association.

All of our students participate in music education with the opportunity to participate in performance experiences throughout the year. Our older students have the option to select from band, choir or orchestra for their music credits. We're proud to offer these subjects as an integral part of the regular school day.

Learning and Embracing our Catholic Faith

Our goal is to prepare students at every age level to be faith-filled, intentionally and future-ready leaders during their time at St. Peter Catholic School. Prayer is an integral part of our day, with weekly Mass, access to confession, and Eucharistic Adoration, as well as praying the Angelus every day at noon. The Feast Days and Solemnities of the Catholic Church are a framework for our learning as we embrace not only academics, but the lessons and rhythms of the liturgical year.  Our students are given the opportunity to participate in our liturgies as altar servers, lectors, and members of the choir.

Living the Virtues in and out of the Classroom

At St. Peter Catholic School, our students just don't learn the virtues–they live them. Every aspect of our school focuses on developing our students into being the living Saints they were made to be. At St. Peter Catholic School, our youngest students learn from their older "buddies," who in turn learn to mentor the younger students. We have a team of dedicated parishioners, parents, grandparents, and alumni who share their skills with our students as tutors, librarians, classroom readers, lunchroom and recess helpers, as well as the many hours of behind-the-scenes work they model a life of service. In turn, our middle school students offer their talents through scheduled service hours to the community and the parish.
