We use tennis as the vehicle to teach life, leadership and employment skills--to make an impact on the lives of 2,000+ youth each year.

Saint Paul Urban Tennis has always been about more than just tennis. It's about equipping our youth with invaluable life skills, nurturing their talents, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. Each donation we receive goes directly toward creating opportunities for underserved youth in Saint Paul, providing them with a chance to discover their potential, build character, and achieve their dreams.

This giving season, we invite you to join hands with us once again. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our young athletes. It will help us continue to offer tennis programs that go beyond the court, instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.

Please consider making a donation this season. Your support is not just a gift; it's an investment in a brighter future for our community. Together, we can "serve up" love, passion, and opportunity, and continue to transform lives through tennis.

Thank you for being a vital part of our Saint Paul Urban Tennis family. Your generosity is what keeps our mission alive and thriving.

SPUT provides free or low-cost tennis lesson programs for 2,000+ kids each year on 25+ sites in Saint Paul. Many are offered in diverse, low-income, east side St. Paul neighborhoods where limited youth programs are available. SPUT also employs more than 70 high school and college students as youth tennis coaches, and as program and office assistants at our Eastview Rec Center headquarters. In addition, 15 youth in our Employment PLUS program work in paid jobs at SPUT with time for college and career exploration and mentoring.

SPUT is about more than just tennis, our Academic Creative Engagement (A.C.E.) camps combine tennis with fun off-court reading, writing and math activities. Each summer we partner with the Bakken Museum for a STTEM (science, technology, tennis, engineering and math) camp. We also partner with Her Next Play, The Fort, InnerCity Tennis, and USTA Northern to create "I'm Next" a Tennis and Leadership Camp for Middle School Girls.

Youth in our programs learn and practice SPUT S.P.I.R.I.T.  life skills--Service, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, Imagination and Teamwork. SPUT high school players from under-resourced communities can join our Warrior Leadership Academy, which combines winter tennis with off-court work on leadership development, financial literacy, community service and college and career exploration.

Saint Paul Urban Tennis needs your support to provide jobs for high school youth and scholarships to enable all kids ages 5-18 to participate in our tennis, education, leadership and service programs. Your donation will support SPUT's mission to ensure that no child/youth will ever be turned away due to a family’s inability to pay for our programs. Help us teach kids to be leaders on and off the tennis court. Thank you for considering a contribution for Saint Paul Urban Tennis kids!
