Every parent faces moments of crisis — but not every parent has someone to call.

For too many families in Ramsey County, a temporary setback can quickly spiral into catastrophe. That’s where STAR House steps in.

STAR House provides safe, trauma-informed overnight care for children from birth through six years old when their caregivers face a crisis. 

By offering short-term care, community resources, and compassion we give parents the time and space they need to rebuild family stability.

While the parent is working to address the issue, STAR House gives kids the chance to simply be kids!
